As part of our four-day conference, well-known personalities presented special lectures with interesting and practice-relevant topics. The days were rounded off by a varied evening program with the opportunity to make new contacts.

After the greeting Abbot Columbanus and ours Vice President, Senator MR Dr. Hannes Schoberwalter, the presentation series began with a talk by Dr. Gerhard Steinberger, MBAwith the title: "LEADING THE LEADER TOGETHER".

The focus here was on the right composition of successful teams, including the clear comparisons between football and business. The question was discussed what executives can learn from successful football coaches and which parameters should be used when selecting motivated and competent employees.

Presented on the second day Ms Mag.a Monika Herbstrith-Lappe their toolbox for "SMART SELF-MANAGEMENT FOR LEADERSHIP".
Concrete examples were used to show ways of how to react in concrete situations of daily challenges in the area of leadership, whereby the content was presented with a lot of humor and cheerfulness - a refreshing opportunity to pass on practical experience in a sustainable way.

Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Wolfgang Mathera gave a partial overview of the specific topic on the third day “BUSINESS ETHICS VS. BUSINESS PROCESSES”. More than ever before, optimized processes and business management procedures determine the competitiveness and profitability of companies. CHANGING THE RULES – rapidly changing markets, shortened innovation cycles and a competitive environment are constantly presenting companies with new challenges. This requires permanent flexibility on the part of the companies and rapid adjustment of internal processes to changes in the market. That means rapid adaptation of business processes and thus adjustments to the structural and process organization in a measurable form.

After a theoretical introduction, the participants had the opportunity to apply the topic in small groups using a practical example.

Presented on the last day of the event Mr. Alfred Lutschinger the value-oriented handling of employees at the center of his explanations on the subject "PLEXUS BALANCE SHEET".
Employees represent the essential part of the company's total capital - they are the intellectual assets in which investments are made. From it, value-oriented executives draw potential for a successful and profitable company. The investments made in employees enable returns in the area of human capital with productive effects in areas such as employee motivation, competence, reliability, resilience and company loyalty with an increased sense of responsibility. Above all, it was discussed how an optimal balance between professional goals and the health of employees can be achieved.

The supporting program was on the 1st day of the event with a highly impressive lecture by Abbot Columbanus opened, who, in the context of a fireside chat, shared his extensive and competent experience on the subject ofValue-oriented living and leading in the spirit of St. Benedict!" presented.
